Road Map / how to come:
pass Fortaleza and go on the CE 040 highway heading to the south east. After about 8 km you turn on the street CE 025 direction Aquiraz. You follow the Highway about 14 km to Aquiraz stay on the CE 040 and turn left after approx 8 km on the CE 025 direction to Iguape. After 10 km you pass the village and head to the beach where you turn right.
Directly placed at the Atlantic Ocean there is an elongated and mostly stand deep lagoon. It is supplied by tributaries coming out of the mangroves and offers flat water conditions. There is a tiny island in the middle of the basin with a small Barracha on it. Direction to the inland the lagoon is limited by mangroves and on the other side the beach terminates the basin. The wind always blows from south to southeast is very constant and not affected by any obstacles.
