very remote spot with nice sets coming around the sandbar in the upwind direction.

Kitesurf Conditions:

» wind direction sideshore to side onshore from south east to east

» further down the bay slightly more onshore

» small chopp and windwaves at low tide

» medium chopp with average beachbreak at high tide

» some nice point breaks along the sandbar in upwind direction of the bay

Location / Village:

» village only reachable at low tide or medium tide along the beach

» few very basic barrachas and markets / shops

» no accomodation

travelling along the BR 402 - direction Piaui the exit is right after the village of Barroquinha where you take the dirt road to the right. after passing Araras keep heading straight until arriving at the entrance of Bitupita. head to the right until arriving at the beach. from there directly to the right until Curimao. Buggy or 4x4 absolutely recommended.
